My name is Livia, commonly mistaken for Olivia, Lydia and sometimes even Vivian, although the only way you could mistaken my name for that is if you're seriously deaf or have some pending hearing problems. I kid, but not really.
My entire autobiography should be of no interest to you, so I'll just give you the basics to tide you over.
I'm sixteen. My birthday is August 27th, and although the opportunity to get my driver's license is available to me, I'm too lazy and too busy to pursue such trivial matters. But I'm gonna have to, because after this year, I'll have to wait til I'm eighteen, and that ain't the happs. I'm a stickler for grammar. Can't help it, it's how I was raised. So if you talk like a ten year old who's just discovered the Internet and decides to wreak havoc on it by typing like some sort of retarded horse, please either type like you would speak in person or just don't bother.
I like to draw. I like to post my artwork whenever I've completed a piece that I know people will want to see and I might even put up some other ones if I really feel bored. I also love to write. I'm working on writing a book...not necessarily a novel because what I've written really doesn't constitute a novel...but I plan on publishing it, along with some drawings that'll accompany it once it's finished.
I also love music. I used to play piano for a year before I quit. Classical music is no good for me. Nearly fell asleep on the piano keys. Then I tried drums, and my teacher quit on me after three lessons. He had a low tolerance for my "bad attitude" and my "unwillingness to learn". Well, I'm sorry that I couldn't learn from his so-called expertise. He never even let me touch the bass drum. Or the hi-hat. Just the snare. Which didn't even have the snares on.
And then I discovered the lovely guitar, which I continue to play to this day. I'm self-taught, seeing as I am immune to music teachers and whatever crap they want to feed me about theory, and I've been playing for two years. I'm not the greatest guitar player, I know it for a fact. But at least I love to play. Isn't that all that matters? I also play bass, for which LynZ from Mindless Self Indulgence was and still is my inspiration.
My two main idols include Gerard Way and Lindsey Ballato-Way. Why? Very long story. Condensed version? Gerard has overcome so much over the past few years since the beginning of My Chemical Romance's debut into the music industry, and it's actually insanely inspirational. The message he's trying to convey, that it's alright to be yourself and you shouldn't be afraid to express yourself, is something I try to live by day to day. I look up to LynZ as more of a mother figure. Her opinions of femininity and what it is to be a woman in the music industry and society in general are very insightful and intelligent. Both these people are amazing and beautiful, and it just so happens that they're married and in my two favourite bands. They'd make lovely babies.
I also love Hayley Williams. I'd trade anything to have her vocal pipes for a day. And William Beckett, because his words are beautiful.
I'm a very friendly person. There aren't many ways to get on my bad side OVER THE INTERNET, but some people still find a way. Just so you know, I hold grudges like nobody's business. Look out, kids.
I am Livia. Hear me roar.
